Scrapbook Page ~ Dad & Son

I made this scrapbook page today. As you can see, I'm a little behind on my scrapbooking! ;)

I saw this technique of layering the papers and thought I would give it a try. I loved the way it turned out! 

I cut the cream color 12 x 12 cardstock to 11 x 11. Then used a corner punch to round the corners. I did the same to the 10 1/4 inch strip of print, rounding the corners of only one side.

Dad is stamped on with dark red ink. Jack (2 in. letters) and & (2 1/2 in.) are cut out with a cricut machine.  

Graduation Card

I made this simple, but nice looking Graduation Card. 

The stamp I use is an old set I had from Close to My Heart called "You Did It".

Mother's Day Cards

Mother's Day is coming up, so I made a couple of Mother's Day cards! 

With the supplies shown in the picture above I made two cards.

To make this card I used:

• Strawberry Slush (Pink) Cardstock ~ Stampin' Up (looks darker in the picture above) 
• White Cardstock
• Fligree Frame Textured Impression Embossing Folder ~ Stampin' Up ~ Sizzix
• Happy Mother's Day Stamp ~ I bought this years ago, probably at JoAnn's or Michael's
• StazOn black ink pad
• Strawberry Slush Stampin' Up Stampin' pad 
• Butterfly Stamp ~ Stampin' Up (an old set)
• Markers ~ Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, & Crisp Cantaloupe ~ Stampin' Up
• Framelits ~ Labels, Fancy ~ Amazon

For this card I used:

• White Cardstock
• Strawberry Slush (Pink) Cardstock ~ Stampin' Up
• Coastal Cabana  (aqua/light green) Cardstock ~ Stampin' Up
• Crazy about You stamp set ~ Stampin' Up
• Hello You Thinlits Dies ~ Stampin' Up
• Butterfly Stamp ~ Stampin' Up (old set)
• Stampin' Up Markers ~ Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, & Crisp Cantaloupe
• StazOn Black ink pad 

To get the lighter small flower, I use the same stamp but didn't re-ink. Then cut out the inner flower. I used the markers to color in butterflies.
